Dear Guests:

This month's wine list has probably the most additions of any in the last year. For the adventurous, we have added some wines from Uruguay. We have also added to the offerings from Chile and Argentina. Most of these wines are organically grown and offer a great value.

This past year, I have become a judge on the panel for the Ohio Wine Quality Assurance Program. This past year 265 wines were submittedby Ohio wineries and were judged against the standards set by some of the finest wine producing regions in the world. In a blind tasting, the five panelists qualified 60 wines as being high quality. Being a relative novice on Ohio wines, I learned a lot and I am impressed with the wines we are offering on our list. Some of the grapes might not be familiar to you, but these wines will change your mind if you think all Ohio wines are syrupy-sweet.

The flow of business keeps me out of the dining room more than I would like, but when I am around, I would love to introduce you to some of these new wines.
